Qigong Clinic

Medical Qigong Sessions

In a medical qigong session, evaluation, treatment, and prescription of a personal medical qigong exercise or meditation generally take place within the scheduled hour. Initial sessions may be longer.

Medical Qigong Distance Healing

Medical qigong distance healing offers "remote" care, effectively the same as in-person energetic treatment, for most cases.

Intention (Yi) and divine blessings transcend local space and time.

Healing that utilizes prayer and intention express the core of many spiritual traditions, although Western science and allopathic medicine rarely utiliize these methods.

The Medical Qigong treatment dialog invites the client to present and clarify their reasons for coming for care, and allows the practitioner to formulate a treatment protocol. In this initial interview, the practitioner seeks to discern the client's physical, emotional, and energetic condition.

At times during the session, the practitioner may lightly touch the client to help move the qi. The client always remains fully clothed.

Sensations such as warmth, tingling, coolness, vibration, and sometimes mild twitching may arise as held or blocked energy releases.

Relaxing and rejuvenating sensations usually accompany treatment. An emotional release can occur either during or after the treatment. Although an emotional release can be briefly uncomfortable, releasing held emotions is considered to be extremely beneficial to one's physical and emotional well being.

Specially tailored prescription medical qigong exercises are taught to the client to assist in their healing. These exercises and meditations are adapted to the client's needs, constitution, and ability. This is similar to an acupuncturist prescribing healing herbs, or to a medical doctor giving a pharmaceutical prescription.

In practicing complementary and alternative medicine, we seek to support the care of your existing physician, therapist, or acupuncturist.
